The Care Promoter is an essential member of our Physician-led Care Team, performing both administrative and clinical tasks to ensure that our medical centers are running smoothly. This role requires you to be unlicensed and cross-trained to fulfill a variety of responsibilities, always under the supervision of a physician. Key Responsibilities: Measure and record patient vital signs and medical history. Communicate patient needs effectively to healthcare providers. Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures. Monitor patients and report any changes in their conditions. Collect lab specimens and perform basic waived lab tests. Prepare and administer medications, change dressings, and provide first aid. Maintain medical supplies and ensure compliance with safety standards. Handle patient phone messages and follow up on important information. Support health coaching for patients to promote healthy lifestyles. Perform other duties as assigned by management. What We’re Looking For: Compassionate individual with excellent interpersonal skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Team player who collaborates effectively with healthcare staff. Problem-solver focused on patient needs and team success. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in all documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Ability to remain calm in fast-paced environments. Willingness to travel locally as needed. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable training. Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience or completed clinical rotations. Experience with geriatric patients is a plus. EMR experience preferred. BLS certification required within the first 90 days of employment.
