We are seeking an Interior Designer focused on Educational Projects, with opportunities to work on Justice & Civic, Workplace, and Mixed-Use projects. This role supports a hybrid work model, balancing office and remote work, and is based in [Location to be specified]. Position Summary: As an Interior Designer at DLR Group, you will contribute to our Interiors team by developing material and finish palettes, creating 3D renderings, and preparing presentation drawings. You will coordinate interior design and technical development, collaborating closely with the integrated team to deliver projects that meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. You may also assist project managers with scheduling, work plans, QA/QC, and client interactions, often leading interior design efforts and presentations. What You Will Do: Develop creative, technically sound design solutions ensuring excellence. Integrate quality assurance/control processes and adhere to company standards. Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of documents. Demonstrate strong conceptual design, space planning, and detailing skills. Apply sustainable product and material choices, and create compelling graphic presentations. Attend site walks and construction meetings, sharing insights to improve coordination. Lead collaboration within the project team, communicating design ideas effectively. Ensure BIM standards are applied, oversee QA/QC, and resolve clash issues. Manage time effectively, aligning costs with project budgets. Minimum Qualifications: At least 6 years of professional interior design experience. Undergraduate degree in Interior Design. Professional licensure. Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and other relevant software. Strong technical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Knowledge of sustainable design principles. Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Professional licensure.
