Job Summary Meneses Law is seeking a UI/UX Designer to enhance the user experience of our internal and client-facing software platforms. This entry to mid-level role involves collaborating with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to create intuitive, modern, and accessible interfaces that improve workflow and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be passionate about user-centered design, possess strong visual skills, and be capable of managing projects from concept to delivery, aligning designs with broader product and business goals. This role offers the chance to influence our design system, create accessible component-driven designs, and impact legal tech at Meneses Law. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with teams to define user needs and develop UI/UX solutions. Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes. Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback. Maintain consistent design language using style guides and reusable components. Contribute to and maintain a design system aligned with TailwindCSS and ShadCN libraries. Ensure designs meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards. Work closely with developers to review and refine designs. Present design concepts clearly through various communication methods. Stay updated on UI/UX trends and tools. Required Skills And Abilities Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work for web or mobile. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch. Understanding of user-centered and interaction design principles. Knowledge of accessibility standards and responsive design. Ability to translate workflows into intuitive interfaces. Experience with TailwindCSS and ShadCN or similar libraries. Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. Experience with user research techniques. Educational / Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field. 1-3 years of UI/UX design experience. Experience with Agile/SCRUM teams preferred. Experience in a macOS environment highly preferred. Compensation Meneses Law values work-life balance with operation hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus 2 Saturdays a month for some positions.
